First, I would like to thank all you who've been here and looking at my pictures! Thank you so much, and I'm very glad that you like them! I'm hoping to jump into a new category of pictures to take for you to see, but more about that a bit later in the entry!

It's been a very boring summer as I haven't been on any ships this year. So, I spent the summer taking some pictures and playing with Sora. She's so big already! I remember when she was this tiny, tiny puppy, and now she's already almost 8 months old! I've been to the Fortress of Suomenlinna more times in a week than in the last few years! It's good thing, too, because I've forgotten how nice it is there. And we're allowed to take dogs there, too, which is great - it's a good excuse to take Sora with me and give her a long walk at the same time, haha. And pictures! I got to take pictures there, but I took more of Sora than of anything else, haha.

Neste Oil Rally Finland was great this year! We went to watch 3 special stages (2 of the on the same day at the same place), and I got some very nice pictures from that! I need to go there more often - it's been ages since the last time I went to a rally. It was fun! And this year was the first time we went to the podium ceremony, so I got to see the winners!

Something exciting is happening next week! I'm very happy that Grandma gave me an opportunity like this! She's been asking for a while now if I'd be interested in diving, because she's not using her equipment anymore. And this week I heard that she'd be willing to help me if I wanted to sign up for a diving course. So! Long story short, I found a diving equipment store that offers PADI courses! My PADI OWD course starts on Monday! I'm so, so, so excited! I'm just worried I'll love diving really, really much because I can't afford to go anywhere nice to dive at the moment, hahaha - or take additional courses, like the AOWD or U/W Digital Photography But I'm basically graduating after this school year (just have to write & present my thesis), so in a few years I should be able to go on a diving tour (excursion?) once a year to somewhere really warm and nice, if I want to. Or that's the plan at least if I find myself with a new loved hobby xD But yeah, can't wait to start the course, and the next few courses after that. I really want to start taking underwater pictures! Underwater Videography sounds very good, too, haha
